Joseph Plaud has published and lectured widely in the assessment and treatment of sexual offenders, and his opinion is frequently sought in forensic cases. He is graduated summa cum laude from Clark University in 1987, with High Honors in Psychology, and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Joseph Plaud did his post-graduate studies at the University of Maine, where he received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1993.
